Late June is referred to as the best time to go on safari. This month may still receive a few drops but this depends on the lengths of the rain season which sometimes ends in late May. June is a winter season in most parts of the country and it is colder in the Northern and Southern Highlands of Tanzania.
The migration this month is almost on the western part of Serengeti, approaching the Grumeti river.
At the beginning of June, the grass is still stalled making it difficult for wildlife sightings, but it is much better than in May and April.
June is the perfect month for Nature photographers, birdwatchers,s and wildebeest Migration experiences in western Serengeti.
We advise you to plan your trip starting in late June so you can increase your chances of sighting more wild animals.
