How to make payment for your Safari?

We are thrilled to have you book your Safari in Tanzania with Examine Africa and thank you for choosing us. As you prepare for your trip, we would like to provide you with information on the available payment options for your balance amount.

Payment Options

By proceeding with payment please make sure to read guidelines carefully.

Cash Payment

We recommend paying the balance amount in cash when you arrive in Tanzania, with US Dollars being the preferred currency. Please ensure that the notes are printed on or after 2006 as only those are valid currency in Tanzania. During the briefing, we will collect the cash payment from you. If you prefer to pay in a currency other than US Dollars, please refer to our Supported Currencies article.

We understand that carrying large amounts of cash may not be comfortable for some travelers. Therefore, we offer other payment options for your convenience.

Local Bank Transfer

You can make the full payment in advance by doing a local bank transfer to our bank accounts in the USA (US Dollars), UK (Pounds), Germany (Euros), or Australia (Australian Dollars). To obtain the appropriate bank details, please contact our team. Please make sure to initiate the bank transfer at least one month before your arrival. Once the transfer is complete, kindly send us the transaction details for our reference, and we will update your balance in our system.

International Bank Transfer

You can also make the full payment in advance through an international bank transfer. However, please note that the process can take up to 2-3 weeks due to slow electronic payments processing by our bank in Tanzania. To make the transfer, instruct your bank to do an international wire transfer to our bank account, and ensure that all transfer charges are borne by you. Please send us the transaction details once the transfer is complete, and we will update your balance in our system.

Online Payment with Card

If you prefer to pay online, you can use your credit or debit card to make the full payment. Please note that there is a 5% card processing fee. The bank processing time for this payment method is two weeks, so we advise you to inform us well in advance. To pay online, let our team know, and we will send you a payment link.
